Clean vs Unclean foods Empty
PostSubject: Clean vs Unclean foods   Clean vs Unclean foods EmptyWed Jan 13, 2010 9:07 pm

In this sub-forum, I would like those of you who have read the food Laws in the old testament to find any scripture and reason why Yeshuah said it was ok to eat from the unclean beasts and things. This is a common argument amongst those who study the Bible.
To eat pork or not, to eat snake or not and so on. This topic should bring out good study efforts.

Ich wanted to write in this post old testaments food laws.
Also Ich found reason how Yeshuah said what is really un-clean and that reason is not cause of unclean or clean food laws.

Unclean foods and clean foods from Old Testament:

5 Moses 14:4-20

These are four-legged animals, those you may eat:
cow, sheep, goat, deer, gazelle, roe deer, wild goat, ibex and antelope
also those four-legged, which have twofold cloven hoof and those
who ruminates.

But animals those ruminates but don’t have cloven hoofs or those who have
cloven hoofs but don’t ruminates, you shall not eat.
These are camel, rabbit and hyrax, those although ruminates but those haven’t cloven hoofs; they are un-clean.
Unclean is also pig, which have twofold cloven hoofs but it doesn’t ruminate.
These animals flesh shall not eat, neither you shall not touch these animals corpses.

You shall eat all kind of water animals, those who have fins and scales,
but you shall not eat those who don’t have fins or scales, they are unclean.

You may eat all kind of clean birds.
But birds, those are unclean, you shall not eat. Those are eagle, griffon vulture, beard vulture, red kite and all other black kites, all ravens, ostrich, nightjar, seagull, kestrel, sparrow owl, eagle owl, barn owl, pelican, osprey, cormorant, white stork and other storks, hoopoe and bat.

All winged little animals are unclean; those you shall not eat.
But all clean winged you may eat.

In the New Testament:
Yeshuah said in book of Matthew following sentences:

Matthew 15:11
“No human can pollute it, which goes in the mouth. That pollutes human, which come from the mouth to outside.”

Matthew 15:17-20
“You don’t understand, that, which goes in the mouth, continues in stomach, and then it defecates.
But that, which came from the mouth outside, is come from heart, and that pollutes human.
Cause into heart begins all evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, promiscuities, and stealing, wrong certificates
and abuses. These are which pollutes human not that, human eat unclean hands.”

You, like so many discuss this chapter, but only the verses mentioned. Yeshuah and his disciples were being accused of eating with ceremonial unwashed hands, not pork or any other forbidden food.
