[I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.]
So many people do not realize what this passage is all about. Unfortunately, people get into the habit of living life a certain way, their way, not Yahweh's Way. This passage clearly shows that in a flash, in the time it takes you to blink, you will be changed and it is either do or die. Literally.
It will be too late to start worrying about learning the way to survive in the world in the way Yahweh wants. During your life, you have to make many choices. Choices that define who you are. Choices that shape your life.
If we learn now what Yahweh expects from you, then we won't have to worry about later, when it is too late. We will be expecting Him. We will be looking forward to His Coming. We will rejoice in the fact that this time of change has finally arrived and His time starts while the world's time is ended.
Remember Yahweh's Laws and Ordinances and Festivals concerning the Messiah Yeshuah. We must learn to obey his will and submit ours to him.
